Lynch Meyer Lawyers Welcomes Experienced Legal Professional Sue Porter to the Team

Posted on August 07, 2025

Lynch Meyer Lawyers is pleased to announce the appointment of Sue Porter to our workplace relations team. Sue brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in industrial relations and employment law, making her a valuable addition to our growing practice.

Sue graduated from the Law Extension Committee of the University of Sydney and the Legal Profession Admission Board of NSW with a Diploma in Law in 2020. She went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with the College of Law and was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia in April 2021.

Over the course of her career, Sue has developed a deep understanding of both State and Federal employment law. She has worked across a variety of roles in government and industry, including serving as Principal Industrial Relations Adviser within a State Government department. In that role, Sue managed a portfolio of matters including disputes and monetary claims on behalf of the declared employer.

With prior experience as an adviser, manager, and consultant, Sue has provided practical and strategic advice to a wide range of stakeholders on issues including interpretation of industrial instruments, legislative compliance, enterprise agreement negotiations and workplace strategy. Her skills as a negotiator and her strong background in employment law will enhance the support we provide to our clients.

Sue is available to assist clients across a broad spectrum of workplace matters.
