Property Settlement

Our lawyers have particular expertise in complex property settlement/litigation matters involving company, partnership and Trust issues.

We offer commercially savvy approaches to resolving your property related matters in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Financial Agreements

The Family Law Act 1975 allows for parties to enter into binding financial agreements before (pre-nuptial) or during a de facto relationship or marriage, setting out how property owned prior to cohabitation and property acquired by the parties during cohabitation are to be dealt with in the event of the breakdown of a relationship.

If you are a high net worth individual and are entering into a new relationship, you should consider whether to enter into a binding financial agreement to protect your property interests.
