Alice Carter


Alice practices in the firm’s insolvency and debt recovery team. She was Recommended as a Leading Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer in Doyle's Guide in South Australia for 2020.

Alice has a busy practice and focuses on providing local and interstate clients with exceptional service by ensuring she understands their business to deliver commercial advice and outcomes in the most cost-effective way.

Alice has assisted in representing clients in resolving and/or defending unfair preference claims, acted for individuals in respect of personal insolvency, company's in respect of corporate insolvency, and provided advice in respect of the Personal Properties Security Act. Alice regularly appears in all Court jurisdictions for debt collection, personal and corporate insolvency.

Alice is the the President of the South Australian division of AICM, President of the Women’s Insolvency Network of South Australia (winSA) and a member of ARITA. In 2016, Alice became a Certified Credit Executive and in 2017 Alice was recognised as the Australian Institute of Credit Management’s Young Credit Professional of the Year for South Australia.
