Lynch Meyer Lawyers’ Partner Malinda Kuo and Consultant Sam Appleyard are qualified and experienced Notaries Public and commercial lawyers.
Malinda is the first Notary Public in South Australia graduated from the Sir Zelman Cowen Centre, the first post-graduate university qualification available in Australia in the area of Notarial Practice. Malinda also speaks fluent Mandarin and has vast experience providing transaction advice to businesses in Asia, in particular China.
Sam is a Fellow of the Australian & New Zealand College of Notaries, and the Notaries’ Society of South Australia Inc. (of which he is a Council Member). Sam is a commercial and property lawyer with over 30 years’ experience. He has practised extensively in the Northern Territory and South Australia and was a founding director and company secretary of ASX listed Marathon Resources Ltd (now Leigh Creek Energy Ltd).
Both Malinda and Sam understand the significant importance and often tight time constraints with notarising documents. They are qualified to perform a wide range of notarial services for use both in Australia and internationally.
They can also provide advice in relation to the authentication of documents, particularly the verification of documents which are to be relied upon outside of Australia, including assistance with the requirements of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), and Embassy and Consulate “legalisations” where necessary.
