Carmel is an experienced Senior Associate in the firm’s wills, estate planning and estate administration team. She has significant experience in the fields of succession planning, probate law and the administration of deceased estates, having worked exclusively in this field for over twenty years.

Carmel specialises in the preparation of all estate planning documentation, including both simple and complex wills, Powers of Attorney and Advance Care Directives. She offers thorough and well considered legal advice to each client, ensuring they understand the options available to them and that they are empowered to make sound decisions to protect their legal interests.

Further, Carmel has substantial experience in the administration of deceased estates. This includes advising on and obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration ranging from complicated estates with difficult circumstances, to straight forward, simple estates with few assets. In the course of estate administration, Carmel’s experience allows her to recognise and advise on potential problems, claims and challengers in order to provide well considered solutions that easily resolve issues.
