Georgia Gray
Senior Associate
Georgia Gray is a Senior Associate in the firm’s credit, commercial litigation and insolvency team. As part of the team, Georgia provides dispute resolution, insolvency and recovery advice to a broad range of clients, from individuals and small-medium enterprises to large corporations. Georgia’s focus is to provide clients with exceptional service and cost-effective outcomes.
She was recognised in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Australia 2025 list for Insolvency and Reorganisation Law in Adelaide.
Georgia was awarded the Australian Institute of Credit Management's Young Credit Professional of the Year for South Australia in 2023.
Georgia has a strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution, particularly involving insolvency. Georgia has experience representing and advising clients (including insolvency practitioners) in a variety of insolvency related matters, including unfair preference claims, breaches of directors’ duties, personal insolvency issues and examinations. Georgia also represents clients in a variety of other commercial disputes.
Georgia also manages a large strata and community title recoveries and disputes practice. That work includes issuing proceedings to recover outstanding quarterly levies and charges, acting in disputes relating to use of common property, breaches and the operation of articles and by-laws, contractor disputes and deceased estates. In addition to dispute work, Georgia provides advice to Body Corporate Managers and individual unitholders as to corporations’ and owners’ rights and responsibilities, amendments to strata and community title plans, and updates to articles and by-laws.
Georgia is actively involved in her community, and has been a Community Ambassador for Catherine House since 2022. Georgia is President of the Women’s Insolvency Network of South Australia, and is also a member of the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association, Australian Institute of Credit Management and Law Society of South Australia. In 2021, Georgia was named as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards for insolvency.
Georgia was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia and High Court of Australia in 2017. Georgia also has a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of Adelaide, and completed the ARITA Advanced Certification course through the University of Technology Sydney in 2022.
